Do you put your faith into practice?

In case you missed our Generation Glory meeting last night here’s a quick recap:::::::::

The apostles said to the Lord, “Make our faith greater.” The Lord answered, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you. –Luke 17:6

We have all heard “Faith is seeing without believe,” but do we really put faith into practice? Faith goes beyond believing in God and believing in the miracles He does for others. Faith is putting it into practice in our own lives, even when the circumstances say otherwise. Check out this testimony from a nine-year-old girl in school:

This young girl kept clicking her lead pencil over and over again and no lead would come out. Finally her friend turned to her and said, “Would you stop clicking your pencil, no more lead is going to come out, its empty.” The young girl looked at her friend and boldly said, “Yes it will because I’m going to pray in the name of Jesus for more lead to come out.” The young girl’s friend simply shrugged. Then after a short praying in a 4th grade classroom, the girl clicked her pencil and lead came out!

This young girl’s faith in what seems like the silliest of situations was brought to action. How much more can faith in our living God do? Whether we are diagnosed with a sickness or struggling financially if we call into being the things we cannot yet see, God will come through for us. We need to speak in faith and with the authority God has given us call into being the miracles we need in our lives. Our miracle is determined by our amount of faith. Let’s be more like children with our faith and never doubt that God can do the impossible. “What’s impossible for man is possible for God”(Luke 18:27.)
